Who Was Julius Caesar?
He was a Roman politician, a general and a writer. He became one of the most powerful men in the history of Europe. He changed or transformed what we now know became the Roman Empire. He did that by greatly expanding it’s borders of the roman territory and establishing the imperial system.
Throughout his maturity he was frequently reminded, sometimes in a menacing manner, of his youthful sexual affair with the King of Bithynia.
At around the time of his father's death, Caesar made a concerted effort to side with the country's nobility. His marriage to Cornelia, the daughter of a noble, had drawn the ire of Rome's dictator, Sulla, who ordered the young Roman to divorce his wife or risk losing his property. Caesar refused and found escape in the military, serving first in the province of Asia and then in Cilicia. It is there that he had his first homosexual experience, of which his enemies would remind him repeatedly later in his career. Sent by his commander to the kingdom of Bithynia to take charge of a new squadron, he dallied with King Nicomedes long enough that their liaison became scandalous, especially when he found an excuse to return to Bithynia soon after completing his mission.
Caesar was said to be “every woman's husband, every man’s wife.”

My opinion
Now this is the character that you probably knew already, but did you know he was bisexual? Well, I certainly didn’t, even if I still remember studying Ancient Rome and him himself for a long time during school years, but never once did my teachers say that he liked men as much as he like women. They taught us how he was killed by his senate, how he was a dictator that took over most of Europe, and how he was one of the most powerful men in history.
This also shows one of my points, people know what they were taught to know, they believe what they were taught to believe. This why it is very important for people to be able to live within an international atmosphere because they learn knew things about everywhere and about every culture. They become open to different opinions and different views.
